Original joglo house is now rarely found in Javanese villages. The characteristic of joglo that is 'knock down', high quality hand made, high arts, antiques, ethnical, unique, and earthquake resistant make it be hunted by collector from all around the world.
The wooden wall and structures may long last from hundred years ago. Ancient Javanese do wellknown as smart high quality wood selector. The tree (they usually choose the best wood=teak wood) must have some criteria and will be processed well.
